HIV/AIDS 

Since 2001, our HIV/AIDS strategy has provided interventions such as awareness training, wellness committees, peer educators and voluntary counselling and testing by our specially-trained occupational health nursing practitioners.

Thembalethu initiative 

This initiative is facilitated by Nampak Tissue as the manufacturer of the Cuddlers brand of disposable nappies. One million disposable nappies are supplied to various AIDS orphanages annually.

Hospices 

Nampak makes regular donations to hospices around South Africa for the care of terminally-ill patients, including some of our employees and their family members.

Since 2002, some R4-million has been donated to eight hospices throughout the country.

Business Trust 

Nampak is a founding member of the Business Trust. This organisation combines the resources of government and business to create jobs, build capacity and combat poverty through various projects and initiatives.
